Great food, when sunny the outdoor is a charming place. The interior is very nice too. The food is fine and comfy. Really recommend for creative food or good classic. Nice wine selection and craft beer.

I just loved everything about this restaurant! 1st visit, but hope to return! Would certainly recommend it!

Brilliant dining experience. The steak cooked to medium rare is exceptional as well as the venison shin. We usually do not order dessert but the cheese cake and apricot are simply well worth trying. The menu is not large which is good and there is a fantastic atmosphere and tentative staff. I would recommend a visit when in Glasgow.

An oasis off a busy road we stumbled across. Service was excellent, and staff were very friendly. Portion sizes were perfect and food was very tasty and well prepared. Both mains, drinks and deserts were all top class and so felt compelled to write such a positive review.

Only passing through for one night it was important that we found the perfect restaurant serving a range of traditional dishes and The Bothy exceeded our expectations. A good variety of wines all reasonably priced without excessive corkage fees, all the staff are really friendly and the food was outstanding whilst still being reasonably priced. We will definitely return if in the area again and would highly recommend, thanks for a great evening.

Celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary here on Saturday and we all had a wonderful time. Food and service were excellent and everything we had planned and asked for was accommodated. Huge thanks to all the staff for helping to make it a memorable day, particularly when the restaurant was very busy with diners and a wedding party in, well done. It was a great day and certainly one we will remember. Thank you.

When we went to the Bothy, it was quiet as it was midafternoon none the less the staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The interior is eclectic with a mix of tables and chairs and very well kept. The toilets were very clean and nicely decorated (sorry, I have a thing about toilets, there's no point being a lovely restaurant and the toilets discusseding). The food we had was wonderful, well presented and hot. The next time we visit, we'll try and make it for the evening.

Had a really lovely evening at The Bothy celebrating a birthday with a small group of friends. The food, drinks and service were all absolutely excellent, and the restaurant has a lovely cosy atmosphere even on a busy Saturday night. It was great to see a range of vegan options on the menu. Thank you!

Beautiful space we were in the private dining room it is a lovely set up space for large gatherings with one big table . The food was good, service was a bit stretched maybe needed more staff to cover us all . All in all it was a really nice time.

Fantastic little restaurant, I had one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time last night, and they've remained consistent in the nearly 10 years I've known about it. Service is great, atmosphere is perfect, and whoever is in charge of the music has smashing taste. Hanoi Bike Shop may be dead but there's a brilliant alternative just next door.

I booked here for lunch yesterday and it lived up to expectations, it's set back just off the main road and the decor was lovely. The staff were great, along with the food which was cooked to order and came out about 20 minutes after ordering. My colleague had the Gnocchi and that looked absolutely amazing. Well done to the Bothy team, we would definitely book again if we are ever in Glasgow.

Spectacular experience. They were so enthusiastic about switching over to a brand new menu I felt bad for asking for a dish from essentially the day before. They were happy to accommodate though, and were overall just amazing, from great martinis to awesome wine pairing suggestions. The food was not just delicious but obviously carefully prepared. Definitely one of the great Glasgow restaurants.
